Project X

We were thrilled to be a part of this unique and custom home build located in Nutana. All options were explored when designing the modern home, which has a West coast inspiration, combined with the Saskatchewan welcoming feel.

Project Details

This custom home build in Nutana includes over 4,700 square feet of above grade living space, plus an oversized double detached garage. Every room in this home had inspiration and a purpose, not only for aesthetics but functionality as well.

Unique areas of this home includes a full ICF structure (foundation and full 2 storey walls), structural steel beams and posts, commercial grade aluminum windows and in-floor radiant heat distribution with cooling provided by a high velocity system. Recently winning the 2018 AWMAC Saskatchewan Awards (Architectural Woodwork Manufactures Association of Canada) in both the, ‘Residential’ and ‘People’s Choice’ category, this home includes over 2,000 board feet of solid white oak millwork, featured in almost every room. The staircase, which incorporated several different trade scopes along with a complex steel assembly, became what we feel to be the main interior feature on this project. Some other interior items of note are the integrated flush baseboards and the architectural drywall reveals throughout.

The exterior features a low slope roof with a mid-belly band. Exterior finishes include metal cladding, with a contrasting light coloured stone veneer. With its large and oversized corner to corner aluminum commercial glazing, this home capitalizes on it’s sought after Nutana neighbourhood views.
